2019 has been a successful year for Unique IQ

As we reflect on a hugely successful 2019, we thought we’d countdown to Christmas with our very own 12 days of Unique IQ.

12 months of support

We pride ourselves on our customer support here at Unique IQ. With a Customer Experience Score of 6.5/7, our service is officially rated “world-class” by our customers.

11 new team members

2019 has been a year of real growth, where we welcomed 11 new team members into the fold – in software development, marketing, customer service, project management and finance.

10 cakes eaten

All celebrations are marked by cake here at the Unique IQ offices. This year was a special one as we wished Managing Director David Lynes a very happy 40th birthday.

9 summer picnics

We’re very lucky to be based in the idyllic Worcestershire countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and visited by the occasional deer. So when the weather’s good, we head outside at lunch time to enjoy it.

8 Friday beers

Celebrating the little things is just as important as the big, so we make sure that on a Friday afternoon we raise a glass to another successful week.

7 award ceremonies

It’s been a busy year for awards ceremonies; we were honoured to reach the shortlist of 7 different awards, including being recognised for innovating in technology at both the Leaders in Care and LaingBuisson awards – the “Oscars of the health and social care industry”.

6 core values

Everything we do has our core values at its heart. They are our anchor, our point of reference by which we judge every action, development and relationship.

5 conferences

This year we’ve been out on the road a lot – with the chance to meet us at 5 major industry events, as well as lots of face-to-face meetings with our lovely clients. Next year you’ll find us at the South West Care Show, Home Care Expo and Manchester Cleaning Show in March, followed by the Care Show 2020 in October.

4 new product features

Working in collaboration with domiciliary care organisations, we’ve made some important developments to our digital care management software this year, with four big new features, and hundreds of other smaller-scale improvements.

3 apprentices

We have 3 fantastic apprentices in the team here at Unique IQ. Bruno, Shue and Oskar are doing great things to take our products forward – and you can find out a bit more about our software development team here.

2 glittering trophies

In November, we were honoured to win ‘Business of the Year’ at the Birmingham Awards and ‘Innovation of the Year’ at the North Worcestershire Business Awards – much deserved recognition for our hard-working team.

And 1 Unique IQ

As our Managing Director David Lynes says: “Aligning the workplace with a positive and enthusiastic workforce, really helps to make a difference. Unique IQ wouldn’t be where it is now had it not been for the driving force behind it: the people.” Together we make one Unique IQ.
