Those of you who work closely with Unique IQ will know that for the last 18 months, our team has been reimagining our home care technology; working towards our vision of a connected, collaborative, data-driven home care sector.

Now the time has finally come when I can share these developments with you. Introducing, IQ:caremanager.

IQ:caremanager is our flagship new technology which we have created specifically for the care sector.

In designing the software, we have listened closely to what our care partners have told us. We have observed how they use our systems, explored with them what could be done differently and understood what it is they are trying to achieve.

With IQ:caremanager, we now believe we have the only genuinely end-to-end care management system for the home care sector on the market.

It brings together everything that a care provider needs from software together into one single box. We have built on the foundations of our existing technology suite, so IQ:caremanager has all the features and functions that our care provider partners already know, love and rely upon. For example, scheduling, compliance reporting, real-time alerting, eMAR, digital forms and outcomes. Too many to list here.

Whilst being API driven, it has the ability to share data with countless other technologies. We have worked on an integration hub that will plug IQ:caremanager into over 600 other systems that a business might use – think accounting software such as Quickbooks or Sage, communications tools like Gmail or Slack, or productivity aids like Microsoft Word or Monday.com.

Downloads, dashboards and discovery

But the side of IQ:caremanager I am most excited about is data analytics. It comes with three layers of data:

• Downloads – a reporting platform with lots of exportable standard reports, plus the ability to build your own for when you want to know something specific
• Dashboards – a visualisation of tailored sets of business information, including care quality, HR and finance
• Discovery – an added layer of AI that will comb through the system’s data and surface new insights, trends and business intelligence

Care is going through a huge period of change at the moment, with technology at the forefront in supporting the remodelling of how care is delivered. Our intention for IQ:caremanager is that it will bring a level of efficiency and automation that helps care organisations ‘power up’. Through having access to technology that is fast, portable, intuitive, connected and data-rich, care staff are free to devote their energy to the task at hand – providing outstanding care.
