Home care technology company Unique IQ has been shortlisted for a prestigious LaingBuisson award for a third consecutive year.

Unique IQ’s home care software has been named as a finalist in the ‘Innovation in Health Tech’ category of the awards, which recognises “innovation in technology in any setting, in the delivery of care as a service or procedure”.

The LaingBuisson Awards celebrate organisations that are setting new standards of excellence within health and social care. This is the third consecutive year that Unique IQ has been shortlisted, reflecting the team’s determination to support home care providers in delivering outstanding quality care, through innovative software solutions.

Managing Director of Unique IQ, David Lynes, said: “I’m delighted that we’re finalists in the LaingBuisson Awards again this year. It’s an honour to have our home care technology recognised, amongst so many other innovative examples from across health and social care, many of which share our ethos and values of wanting to support better care.”

The LaingBuisson Awards, which showcase the very best in care provision, innovation and leadership in the public, private and third sectors, received an impressive number of submissions from across the UK, reaching an all-time high this year. Originally due to take place in London on 19th November, the glittering awards ceremony has been postponed until Thursday 22nd April 2021.

LaingBuisson is the second nomination for Unique IQ this autumn. The Redditch-based firm’s care management software has also been shortlisted for the “management software” category in the Care Sector Supplier Awards. These new awards seek out the best providers of products and services to the care sector in the UK, with judges looking for innovation, enterprise and performance.

Unique IQ also took home this year’s Home Care Award for ‘Best Technology, Data or Software Product or Service’ at the start of 2020.
