Hot on the heels of securing significant investment from venture capital firm Midven, Redditch-based software company Unique IQ has enjoyed rapid expansion, welcoming eleven new members to the team since the start of 2019.
The new hires strengthen Unique IQ’s capabilities across all areas of the business, with bolstered development and customer service teams, a bigger sales division, newly-formed marketing team, and additional resource in business management and finance.
Amongst the new starters, two senior developers join the product team; Richard Lee and Joseph Upton. They are supported by Bruno Pereira, who joins as Apprentice Software Developer.
Nigel Groves joins in project management, bringing with him significant experience of the software market.
And Jayne Scarman arrives at Unique IQ as Digital Marketing Manager, with a background in B2B marketing and care.
Managing Director of Unique IQ, David Lynes, said of the appointments: “we are extremely excited by the injection of skills, experience and ideas that our newest recruits have given us. The expansion is already enabling us to progress our roadmap of technology development, whilst maintaining the high levels of customer service that we are proud to offer our clients, as well as helping us to raise our profile and expand our market share”.
The award-winning team recently picked up a High Commendation at the Home Care Awards in the ‘Best Technology, Data or Software Product or Service’ category.
